Kilkenny Branch

The Kilkenny Branch of the Dyslexia Association was established in the late 1980s by parents of children with dyslexia for the purpose of organising special tutoring sessions for the children. It is affiliated to the Dyslexia Association of Ireland, and all members of the Kilkenny Dyslexia Association are required to be members of the Dyslexia Association of Ireland.

The Kilkenny branch is run by a voluntary committee, consisting for the most part of parents of children with dyslexia. The current contact person for the Kilkenny Branch is June Maher, Tel. 056 7728436.

The workshop classes are held every Friday evening in a school in Kilkenny City. The current workshop co-ordinator is Susan Brophy, Tel. 056 7768941. It is best to ring after 7pm on weekdays.
