The Dyslexia Association of Ireland runs Workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm-7pm, and on Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm, at the Tirrellan Heights School in Galway City.

The workshop is for children and young people who have been assessed as having dyslexia. The aim of the workshop is to offer specialised tuition for students and also to provide support and information for parents and families. All tutors in at the workshop are fully qualified teachers who have had special training in helping students with dyslexia.

For more information please contact the Workshop Coordinator:

Ann Owen Jones, galway@dyslexia.ie, 087 758 8258, or

Rosaleen Crowe-O’Neill, rcroweoneill@eircom.net 087 617 1518

Please be aware that the Workshops run during a portion of the school year only – approximately from September to December and January to April/May.  Outside of these periods you may not be able to speak directly with the Coordinator or members of the parents’ committee.  Please leave a voicemail or email and you will be contacted at the first opportunity.

If you are seeking to enrol a student in one of these Workshops please download the Galway Enrolment Form 2018/19 and return it to the Coordinator or email it to galway@dyslexia.ie.
