The Dyslexia Association of Ireland runs a Dyslexia Workshop on Monday evenings from 4.30pm-6.30pm in Sacred Heart Secondary School, Clonakilty.

The Autumn 2017 term will commence on Monday 25th September 2017 and run for 11 weeks until Monday 11th December 2017.  (Please note that due to mid-term break there will be no workshop on Monday the 30th of October).

The workshop is for children and young people who have been assessed as having dyslexia. The aim of the workshop is to offer specialised tuition for students and also to provide support and information for parents and families. All tutors in at the workshop are fully qualified teachers who have had special training in helping students with dyslexia.

For more information please contact the Workshop Coordinator for the Clonakilty and West Cork Branch:

Elaine McGoldrick,  083 045 3220

Please be aware that the Workshops run during a portion of the school year only – approximately from September to December and January to April/May.  Outside of these periods you may not be able to speak directly with the Coordinator or members of the parents’ committee.  Please leave a voicemail or email and you will be contacted at the first opportunity.
