Nationwide Branches
DAI currently has a nationwide network of 36 Branches. Branches are run by local voluntary committees. Branches act as informal parent support groups in local areas and provide information. Almost all DAI Branches run out-of-school Workshops for children. DAI Workshops provide specialised tuition in small groups for children from 7 years of age upwards who have been diagnosed with dyslexia. All affiliated DAI Branches and Workshops must operate according to DAI Bye-Laws and Articles of Association, the Guidelines on Best Practice for DAI Branches and the DAI Workshop Manual.
Information on local services can be had from the volunteers listed below. These are often home telephone numbers, so it is usually best to phone in the early evening.
