National Executive Committee
DAI is governed by its National Executive Committee (NEC). Members of this committee are elected each year at the AGM, and they are responsible for making policy decisions regarding the structure and development of the Association. The NEC is also responsible for keeping the Association solvent and for ensuring that all legal and fiscal responsibilities are honoured. The National Executive Committee has two sub-groups – the Steering Sub-Committee and the Fundraising Sub-Committee. Other sub-groups are convened as necessary, e.g. a Conference Organising Sub-Committee.
